Her aspiration is to become a NICU Nurse Practitioner in Texas. Her passions have always been to help and care for those, as the same hospitality was given to her. Maya Williams is a graduating junior pursuing a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Science. Her goal is to become a Forensic Nurse, combining her passion for psychology and justice with her desire to provide medical assistance to crime victims. Maya has been actively involved in her school community, serving as the President of Active Minds, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about mental health. She is also the President and Creator of NCAT SAFE, an initiative focused on promoting safety and prevention on campus. Maya has demonstrated leadership skills as an RA and has gained valuable experience working for Counseling Services. Additionally, she has interned with the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault, contributing to her understanding of the complexities of victim advocacy. Maya is a member of Alpha Phi Sigma and Psi Chi, prestigious honor societies in her field, and she participates in the Big Sister Little Sister mentorship program, where she provides guidance and support to younger students.

Savana Johnson is a graduate of Cumberland International Early College High School. With a 4.6 GPA, she achieved Summa Cum Laude distinction and secured a spot in the top 10% of her graduating class. Throughout her academic journey, she actively participated in various extracurricular pursuits, including the National Honor Society, Academy of Scholars, International Club, Global Girls, and Track and Field. Looking ahead, she has set her sights on North Carolina Central University, where she aims to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Her ultimate aspiration is to become an Occupational Therapist, dedicating herself to improving the lives of others through this fulfilling career path.
Taaliya Bennett will be attending North Carolina Central University as a freshman in the fall. She will be majoring in nursing and has plans to use that degree to become a labor and delivery nurse. In her free time, she likes to paint, write, and read. She likes to write about her experiences in a character she created. Her favorite book is The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.
